This Year So Far

      This year my favourite subjects are E.L.A and Health. I like these subjects because we are learning new things that I enjoy learning about, and interest me.

      In E.L.A we are reading books, and learning about grammar. We just finished reading a book called “The Old Man and the Sea”, by Ernest Hemingway. The book is about an old fisherman who went 84-days without catching a fish. On the 85^th day he goes out far hoping to catch a big fish. We are also doing work sheets and games to teach us about nouns, verbs, and adjectives.

       In Health we are learning about goals. We learned how to make action plans, and set short-term and long-term goals for ourselves. One of my goals is to continuing playing for the Manitoba Provincial Soccer team. We are also writing an essay on what career we would like to take on when we grow up. I would like to be a Real Estate Agent.
