Competitive Boys Volleyball Team

            Our team consists of 10 people. They are: Vince, Shane, Partiq, Noah A, Derek, Ayush, Yafet, Simon, Kavisha, and Lado. We’ve only had 1 practice so far, but we look good so far. On our first practice we did many drills. We practiced our serving, digging, etc. Then we just scrimmaged. Today, we will be having practice with the University of Manitoba coach. This practice should be very interesting. Our first game is on October 7^th here at SMS. We are versing CTK. So y’all should come watch and support! Our next game would be on October 9^th @ Holy Ghost.

           

           Our team has a lot of potential and a lot of talent. Practices have been great but last practice nobody seemed to focus and pay attention. Kavisha is our best setter. Vince is the best hitter. Shane is our best bumper.  Shane, Partiq, and Vince are really good at over-hand serving. We’re still working on our chemistry and team work. It seems like Kavisha and Vince has the best teamwork. Our practice with the University coach was pretty good. He has coached in 2 Olympics. He also gave the best people Tim Bits. Shane got the most and Partiq and Vince were tied for second. We are very excited for this season and we hope to do very well.
