Christmas
Charity (Tyger)
Hi. For a Christmas
charity, many classes in our school made food hampers for families who can't
afford it in the area. Each student brought a specific item like cookies, eggs,
milk, cheese whiz, bread, pancake mix, etc. I had to bring in a box of cookies for
the hamper any time before the 20th, while anyone who had items that needed to
be refrigerated brought theirs in the day of. Each class provided for one
family.
For Christmas charity, some people
also brought in mitts, hats, scarves, toothpaste, soap, and all that. They were
given to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, which were then given to people who
needed it because it's really cold outside and they could be really cold on
Christmas. All of the classes worked together combined to help families in need
so they have a good Christmas.
