Egypt

On February 4^th we went to the Manitoba Museum to see the mummy Pesed. While we were at the museum we also learned about Egypt from the information provided at the exhibit. We all had a chance to mummify a carrot, learn to write in hieroglyphics, and make our own amulet. We also got to see a show in the planetarium about Egypt. The field trip was an introduction to Egypt. Our next unit in Social Studies will be on Egypt.
